Zhang Guansan, from Caogang in Hu Village, is a famous scholar in Peinan. It is beneficial to people and things, and the villagers spontaneously set up a monument to praise it.

Zhang Boying was invited by his friends to write inscriptions and calligraphies for him. The inscription not only shows the artistic value of Zhang Boying's calligraphy, but also reflects the social conditions of Peixian County during Xianfeng and Tongzhi years of the Qing Dynasty, such as the flood, the Nian Army and the Lake Regiment.
