The permanent prohibition monument is an ancient official to prohibit some behaviors in the society and issued in the form of inscriptions, generally standing at the traffic road, easy for pedestrians to watch, to achieve the purpose of warning and admonishment.


The indelibly forbidden tablet was inscribed in the eleventh year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1733). It was issued by the county magistrate under the order of Xuzhou Prefecture of Jiangnan Province in combination with the reality of Peidi. Notice strictly prohibit local rape people whistling in urban and rural areas, bullying the weak, extortion merchants and pedestrians.
