Gefengtai was first built in the Han Dynasty, in Peicheng east Surabaya bank, after repeated destruction and construction. In the third year of Guangxu's reign in Qing Dynasty (1877), Gefengtai was rebuilt near the Chengxi Gefeng Academy in Peixian County.
The inscriptions describe the initial construction, relocation and reconstruction of Gefengtai. The Fengge tablet was indeed written by CAI Yong, a famous calligrapher and writer of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Also recorded "Gale Song monument" monument body at the latest in the Qing Xianfeng early years have been broken, Guangxu three years after the restoration of the monument is a remnant.
