Xuzhou Museum launched a survey of county museums

In order to implement the spirit of the Notice on Further Strengthening the Guidance on Cultural and Tourism Work at County and District levels issued by the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the working requirements of the "1122" contact system of Xuzhou Museum leadership, Xuzhou Museum formulated a work plan and carried out a special survey activity for county and district museums. The activity lasted for one month and was divided into 5 batches led by members of the museum leadership. A total of 10 museums in counties and districts were surveyed and visited to understand the development status, existing problems and constraints of county museums, put forward suggestions for high-quality development of museums, and put forward practical measures to help county museums and promote the coordinated development of city and county museums.

On June 9, Li Xiaojun, Secretary and director of Xuzhou Museum, led a delegation of 5 persons from the office, Social service Department, Collection Department, Exhibition Department and other departments to the Peixian Museum and Xuzhou Imperial Palace Museum to carry out research activities. Wang Mingyun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Peixian Culture, Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism Bureau; Hu Yong, deputy director; Zhang Yulan, director of Peixian Museum; Zhou Qingming, director of Xuzhou Imperial Palace Museum; etc.

Director Wang Mingyun, Director Zhang Yulan and Director Zhou Qingming expressed their gratitude to Xuzhou Museum for taking the initiative to help county museums, and introduced the current development status of Pei County Museum and Imperial Palace Museum, hoping that the museum would strengthen business guidance and assistance.

Director Li Xiaojun said that Xuzhou Museum will fully listen to the suggestions and appeals of the county museums, carefully sort out the contents of the survey, formulate practical and feasible assistance plans, and strengthen the in-depth cooperation with Peixian Museum and Imperial Imperial Museum in collection management, public services, academic research, cultural relics protection, digital construction and publicity.

The Xuzhou Museum research team also made field visits to the exhibitions of Peixian Museum, cultural relics storeroom and research venues of Imperial Edicts Museum.
