History

Peixian, named after Peize in ancient times.

In ancient times, it is covered with vast expanses of water, soaked in water in the west, and connected with Surabaya in the north, with crisscross rivers and thick fields. More than five thousand years ago, this was the place where the ancestors lived and multiplied. Ancient Xuzhou, one of the nine states in the south, has experienced the cultural infiltration of Dapeng State, Ancient Xu State and Ancient Song State. To the Spring and Autumn Period, it is rich in resources and rich in culture, leaving a good story about Laozi's seclusion and Confucius. At the end of the Warring States Period, Pei County became one of the oldest counties in China.

Pengxu, the old land of the Shang and Song dynasties, has learned the customs of Lu in the north, inherited the charm of Wu in the south, and gained the strength of the wind of Chu. It has formed a unique folk custom of "the world first and morality first". It is precisely because of such a strong regional spirit that Liu Bang, who is a tall and graceful figure in Surabaya, and Peifeng, who was a hero group in the early Han Dynasty, stood out in the historical tide of the peasant uprising at the end of the Qin Dynasty. They raised troops against the Qin Dynasty, supported the righteousness of the Western Expedition, fought between the Chu and the Han Dynasties, and completed the historic mission of destroying the Qin Dynasty, strengthening the Chu and rejuvenating the Han Dynasty, creating the Han Dynasty, supporting the Han culture, and making Peixian the source of the Han Dynasty.

Since the Han Dynasty, through the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Peixian has always been a huge town of northern pay and southern water. One side of land and water, one side of heroes, the bright stars of literature, and the hunting of martial arts have created the character of Peixian as a famous city with a strong and resolute spirit, advocating culture and martial arts, enterprising spirit, and patriotic family. With the evolution of the sun and the moon and the vicissitudes of the sea, the historical features gradually fade into the depths.
